How Weight Loss Program (Semaglutide) works.
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist that mimics a naturally occurring hormone (glucagon-like peptide-1) your body releases after eating. It signals satiety to the brain, slows gastric emptying, and helps regulate blood sugar. Administered as a once-weekly subcutaneous injection. Our clinical team designs your titration schedule conservatively to minimize side effects. After your 12 weeks, you choose what’s next with your NP: our standard wean-off protocol, or — for patients who complete a program — an ongoing maintenance plan designed individually for you.
