How Semaglutide works.

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist that mimics a naturally occurring hormone (glucagon-like peptide-1) your body releases after eating. It signals satiety to the brain, slows gastric emptying, and helps regulate blood sugar. Administered as a once-weekly subcutaneous injection. How long does the Semaglutide program last? +

The Flow Wellness program runs 12 weeks of active dosing followed by an optional 4-week maintenance window. Your nurse practitioner adjusts the protocol throughout based on your response.

No. Semaglutide is available via HIPAA-compliant telehealth across the lower 48 states. In-person visits are available at our Hamburg clinic if preferred.
